Call Out Fees:
The nature of our job often requires us to go great distances and to locations that are often out of the way, along a highway, on someone else’s property and this leads to additional costs, time constraints, complexity and has with it safety issues. A Mobile Mechanics Call out fee’s helps to Cover Initial Costs while also helping to Weed Out certain negative interactions, such as unreasonable pricing, where, a customer who has agreed on a price wants to change the term’s on site. With a Regular Auto Mechanic, they simply keep your vehicle until the bill is paid, with a Mobile Mechanic, we charge up front.

• A call out fee will be applicable for all service requests, which covers the cost of sending our mobile workshop to your location.
• A Desposit is required for all Call Out Bookings. This is used to secure your appointment and is dependent on distance and other factors.

The call out fee is determined based on the distance from our base of operations to your location.

The exact fee will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

The Safety of our Mobile Mechanics are our Number One Priority and All Negative Interactions, Abuse, Voilence or Threats result in automatic prosecution.
We have a 100% no tolerance policy. We are Not a Cheap Craigslist Style Mechanic. We offer a fair service at a fair price.

Scheduling:
We strive to provide prompt and efficient service to all our customers.

While we make every effort to adhere to the scheduled appointment time, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. In the event of any schedule changes or delays, we will promptly notify you of the new estimated time of arrival.

Non-Refundable Deposits:
For certain services, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your appointment.

This deposit serves as confirmation of your booking and helps us allocate resources accordingly.

• The amount and terms of the deposit will be communicated to you during the booking process.
• Failure to pay the required deposit may result in the cancellation of your appointment.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the scheduled appointment date will incur a cancellation fee. This fee is necessary to compensate for the time and resources allocated for your appointment.
• The cancellation fee will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

Late Cancellations:

• For cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, a late cancellation fee applies equal to the deposit.
  This fee is necessary to compensate for the time and resources allocated for your appointment.
• The late cancellation fee in this case will equal the deposit and results in a non-refundable deposit.

Payment Terms:

• All services provided by The Travelling Mechanic must be paid for in full at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and electronic transfers.
• Payment details will be provided to you during the booking process.

Warranty and Guarantees:

We take pride in the quality of our work and stand by the services we provide.

• All repairs and services conducted by The Travelling Mechanic are covered by a limited warranty. Details of the warranty will be provided to you upon request.
• The warranty may be voided if any unauthorized repairs or modifications are made to the serviced vehicles or equipment.

Liability and Indemnity:

• The Travelling Mechanic shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries that occur during or as a result of the provided services, except in cases of proven negligence.
• You agree to indemnify and hold The Travelling Mechanic and its employees harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from the use of our services.
